Lawrence Eric Wheeler; husband, father, grandfather and poet, captured his innermost thoughts and feelings through the written word.

He led a vibrant early life in Sussex, endured horror fighting in the Second World War and ended his twilight years in the company of family and friends in the beautiful Surrey countryside.
